On Thursday, tooth February 2nd, sale ViralFashion was invited to attend the “Scene on the Street” exhibit launch at the Living Room, cost presented by the W New York Hotel at Times Square and Elle.com. Entering the event, guests were immediately greeted by a new collection of work by Adam Katz Sinding of Le 21ème Arrondissement, a fashion blog with a prolific stream of his images.

The cocktail launch party was a mix of industry professionals, art lovers, and the press. The large crowd admired Sinding’s work while sipping unique cocktails by Chopin, while some danced to the beats provided by DJ Mike Nouveau, yet another personality infamous for his love of the fashionably avant garde. Sinding and Elle.com editor, Sydney Wasserman mingled with the crowd as guests moved through the room.

The “Scene on the Street” exhibit is a collection of Sinding’s recent work: shots of fashionable New Yorkers wearing the trends forecasted by stylists to be the looks of 2012. Curated by Wasserman, the “Scene on the Street” is a fusion of looks from punk revivalist leather combinations to bohemian sweet and chic pairings of chiffon pleated skirts and button downs. Wasserman’s expertise and Sinding’s eye for style are exemplified in the body of work that makes up the exhibit.

Each look represents a different take on some of the runway’s best, and illuminates the way in which style is interpreted and reinterpreted by individuals. As the fashion forward reinvent their styles through the seasons, Sinding, Elle.com, and Le 21ème Arrondissement are there to capture it, lending inspiration to their following.

The “Scene on the Street” Exhibit will be open to the public through February 29th, 2012, at the W New York Hotel at Times Square located at 1567 Broadway at 47th Street.
