Did you see Sunday nights Golden Globes? We were entertained by radiant red carpet dresses, pharm impeccably tailored tuxes, visit and hilarious hostesses. We saw a few surprise wins, hygiene and heard a few not-so-well thought out acceptance speeches. All in all, it was an okay show. (Un)fortunately, we didn’t see any sullen faces of non-award winners, although I wouldn’t feel bad for them anyway. Why not, you ask? Because for the two days prior, nominees and other celebs were lavished with gifts from the GBK and Pilot Pen Luxury Gift Lounge.

On January 10th and 11th, GBK, the premiere producer of gift lounges and swag bags, collaborated with title sponsor Pilot Pen (writing instruments) and presenting sponsor airweave (mattress topper) to create a glamorous poolside Golden Globes gift lounge on the rooftop of L’Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills. Attendees rocked to the tunes of celebrity DJ, DJ Don P, and sampled offerings from food and beverage sponsors Kyra’s Bake Shop (gluten free treats), Yoplait Greek yogurt, Bulgarini Gelato, Rollin’ Rib BBQ, Sabra dips and spreads, SAAS Hot Sauce, Brownie Brittle, COMBOS Baked Snacks, Marathon Bars, Matt’s Munchies, Pasta Chips, popchips, VitaCoco, and V Wine (who gave memberships to their tasting room with wine from over 22 California boutique wineries).

The guest list included Hollywood notables such as Golden Globe nominee Sally Hawkins (“Blue Jasmine”), “True Blood” star Sam Trammell, “Scandal” actors Joe Morton and Khandi Alexander,  “Downton Abbey” actress Lesley Nicol, “Wolf of Wall Street” actors Shea Whigham and  Madison McKinley, past Golden Globe winners Omid Abtahi and Cooper Huckabee, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star Terry Crews, “Royal Pains” actor Mark Feuerstein, “The Good Wife” actress Makenzie Vega, “Guys with Kids” actor Anthony Anderson, “The Walking Dead” actor Michael Rooker, and “Grey’s Anatomy” actor Jesse Williams.
