After Birkenstockand Vans, purchase Opening Ceremony partnered with Manolo Blahnik for a René Magritte inspired collaboration. As part of the year of Belgium, visit this Opening Ceremony created a collection dedicated to one of the country’s greatest artists. Twelve of Magritte’s most iconic images have been reproduced on dresses, sweaters,

and jeans, with a matching lineup of footwear.

The Manolo Blahnik heel is a staple shape, yet it’s entirely overlaid with Magritte artworks such as Scheherazade (1950) and The Blow to the Heart (1952). The shoes capture the late artist’s brilliantly offbeat and reality-warping verve, with eyes and rose petals flanked by pearlescent masks and iron-wrought daggers. Given Open Ceremony’s partnership prowess, who knows what else is in the pipeline.

Chandeliers line the ceilings and the outdoor seating is flanked with custom-built Italian leather banquettes, marble tables with a modern, sleek and upscale décor throughout the venue. Looking fabulous and glamorous is a must here, since the crowd is full of high-heels, suits and models.

Its imperative to arrive around 8 pm to ensure entry. The DJ’s here play a mixture of hip-hop and house music. Dalton’s productions are regularly featured on prominent music blogs and he’s supported by many of the biggest DJs in the world. He’s definitely a sought-after name in NYC, so being in the presence of his EDM beats is a must. Ph-D is a hot spot for any night of the week, while Wednesdays are their signature night. Wednesdays at Ph-D are well known for the glamorous and uptown social individuals congregate to party.
