The 33-year-old supermodel, Gisele Bündchen, sports a half-shaved head with her short hair slicked to the side, along with sexy thigh-high patent boots for Balenciaga’s Fall 2014 Campaign. Shot by Steven Klein, a moody-looking Bündchen was against an infinitely reflecting backdrop of cracked mirrored surfaces, who in February walked the brand’s runway show in a rare catwalk appearance.

“This is how I see Gisele for Balenciaga; strong, powerful, mysterious and uncompromising,” Balenciaga artistic director Alexander Wang said of the campaign, half of which is shot in black-and-white and the other half in color. “This season we worked with this idea of vanity, staged in a room filled with mirrors. But the cracked mirror is a continuing thread from the marble veins and creeping ivy leaves from seasons past” (via WWD).

Wang’s goal at Balenciaga is not to adapt but to “break the mold.” Wang continues to push boundaries and rock the status quo by depicting Gisele Bündchen—a model made a legend thanks to her feminine curves and beachy waves—with a masculine cropped cut.
