As of today, Kate Moss and Cara Delevinge share one more thing: the two British supermodels star side by side in the ads for Burberry’s new fragrance, My Burberry, which includes a print campaign shot by Mario Testino and one sexy commercial: Introducing My Burberry. The black-and-white print ad shows Kate and Cara posing together in Burberry Heritage trench coats—the inspiration for the fragrance. Neither Kate nor Cara are strangers to the famous trench – having both appeared in multiple Burberry campaigns.

“For me it was so amazing to work with Kate, this was my first time. Although I’ve known her for a while I’ve never seen her at work,” Cara said. “On set she is just amazing and even more magnetic, everybody watched her.”

The name “My Burberry” is a nod to the affectionate way people refer to their Burberry trenches, while the scent references the iconic coat more subjectively: First with sweet notes of golden quince and sweet pea that evoke the trench’s signature honey color, and secondly with fresh notes of freesia, bergamot oil, and geranium oil that are meant to be reminiscent of the smell of a London garden after the rain. “We have created a beautifully crafted grand floral unique to Burberry—the perfect accompaniment to the Burberry trench,” says Francis Kurkdjian, the perfumer behind My Burberry. And while Kurkdjian describes the fragrance as a “grand floral,” after wearing it for a few days, I found the combination of fresh and sweet notes made for a unique, clean-smelling floral that is the perfect fragrance to transition from summer to fall.
