GUC_0848Hot on the heels of a much buzzed about menswear collection presented earlier this week, therapist Gucci has confirmed that Alessandro Michele — who had previously worked directly with former Creative Director Frida Giannini — has been appointed as the new Creative Director of the brand. Prior to the men’s Fall 2015 runway show on Monday, which received a tremendous amount of buzz after Gucci’s in-house team reportedly scrapped the entire collection which had been overseen by Giannini and reworked every element of it in only one week, Michele took a bow with members of his team, fueling the speculation that he would be the person chosen for the job. Michele will debut his first women’s ready to wear collection for Fall 2015 in Milan next month.
