Christian Dior as we all know, traveled to Blenheim Palace, England for his Cruise 2017 show. Lucie Meier and Serge Ruffieux, leading directors of Dior’s design team says he took inspiration from not only the post-war high society’s wardrobes, but also the restlessness and wanderlust that characterized the period. They wanted the clothes to emulate a conversation between France and England, a dialogue between the past and present, and creative exchanges between the two countries. Floral prints, jackets, and boxy cuts seemed to be Dior’s trend for this collection. The set included Emma Roberts, Elizabeth Olsen and Kate Mara, as well as Bella Hadid (the brand’s latest face of Dior Makeup).
